About Me

Hi, I'm Mathieu Hentschel - game designer, technical artist and cofounder of Inversive Technologies UG. I design and code games.
I model & animate 3D content and helpt other
3D artists & animators getting thier work to run
inside the game engine. I also create procedural
content. I have gather practical experince in
VR development and the automative industry.

3D Content

I started out as a 3D artist, mostly using ZBrush and Blender and extended by experitice into procedural content, that is generated at runtime within the game engine. When ever I can, I build my own tools and try to expand apon my technical and artistic knowledge.

Game Logic

As a game designer I always push to make something fundamentally new or take a new spin on something. Coding is an essential skill to realize and test my ideas. I mostly work with Unity, but besides C# I also have considerable experince in Python, JavaScript and some C++. For shader programming I usually work with HLSL and somtimes GLSL or CG.

VR Development

At the heart of my work as a VR developer are two essential concepts: intuitve navigation & performace optimazation. Working for the automative industrie, I have developed a range of strategies to process complex CAD data into interactive 3D models, that run at peak performance in VR.

Shader Art

Besides creating interactive 3D graphics I also love to test out new ideas for pixel shaders. I enjoy and admire the fusion of mathematics and art, that is unique to this discipline.
